Scott había liderado las primeras 240 de las 250 vueltas de la carrera, pero tuvo que conformarse con un segundo lugar en su Chevrolet #2 de Richard Childress Racing, a solo 1.947 segundos de diferencia.
Regan Smith terminó tercero, seguido de Kyle Busch y Trevor Bayne para completar el Top 5.
